The Motherwell Developmental Arts Festival 2014 was designed to unearth, prepare and connect artists in the fields of Music, Fashion, Film Visual Arts, and dance with consumers of art. The most notable success of the program was the connection made between a young company that specialises in handmade shoes named Bambanani Fresh Art (http://www.bambananifreshart.co.za ) and Johannesburg fashion house Dope Store (http://dopestore.tumblr.com) where the brand will be sold. Dope Store has already invested thousands of Rands in the production of a new handmade shoe range.
